Qualifying income is your self-employment and property income added together, before expenses. It's based on your 2025 to 2026 tax return. (Source: gov.uk "Find out if and when you need to use Making Tax Digital for Income Tax".)
Every quarter: digital records, plus an update through software that works with MTD, due by the 7th of the month after each quarter ends. Then a final return after the tax year ends. (Sources: gov.uk "Use Making Tax Digital for Income Tax" and "Send quarterly updates".)
HMRC has set out penalty points for late quarterly updates. At 4 points, there's a £200 penalty. Check gov.uk "Penalties for Making Tax Digital for Income Tax" for when this starts to apply to you.
Link your business bank account.
We sort everything into HMRC's categories, and you see every item.
Reminders 14, 7 and 1 day before each 7th. You check the figures and press send.
You will check the figures and press send yourself, through software listed on HMRC's "Find software" tool.
Before launch: the "Done with you" and "Landlord + Trade" plans involve preparing your figures. Before we do that for anyone, we'll register for anti-money-laundering supervision as the law requires. If submissions through HMRC-listed software or that registration aren't in place, we won't launch, and every £1 deposit is refunded automatically.
Founding members only. We'll sort your receipts and statements from the start of your first MTD tax year up to launch day, so your first update doesn't start from a pile. Founding members on any plan get it free.
A founding price that stays while you stay (£5 / £11 / £17 a month). No per-property fees up to 5 properties. No "free then charge" trial, no "was" price. The price table shows the launch price too (£9 / £19 / £29), so nothing is hidden.
A person answers. A named team, reply by the next working day, no chatbot gate. Software help only, not tax advice.
Check before you send. A plain-English summary, with totals by category. Your submission receipt is saved and downloadable every quarter.
Only the quarterly job. No invoicing, payroll or 50 features. Plain-English categories.

You'd rather we did the sorting and you just checked it.
£17 a month, founding price
£29 a month at launch
You have both self-employed and property income, or more than one property.
Founding prices stay the same for as long as you stay subscribed. Monthly, cancel any time. Nothing is charged today, except an optional £1 refundable deposit.
If a quarterly update is late because of something we did, or failed to do, you don't pay for that quarter. Full terms will be in the launch terms. It doesn't cover figures you didn't send us or updates you chose not to submit.
Founding places open to the waitlist first on Thu 5 Nov 2026. Anyone left after 48 hours goes to the public.
5 quick questions. You'll see when MTD is likely to apply to you, based on HMRC's published thresholds, and which plan fits.

Not yet. We're checking whether enough people want it before we build the whole thing. That's why it's a waitlist and a refundable £1, not a subscription.
No, and we don't claim to be. At launch, your updates will go through software listed on HMRC's "Find software" tool. If that isn't in place, we won't launch, and we'll refund your deposit.
No. You check the figures and press send. We don't act as your agent with HMRC.
It depends on your qualifying income and when HMRC says your start date is. Our quiz uses HMRC's published thresholds to give you a likely date, but HMRC writes to people and gov.uk has the official checker. We don't give tax advice.
If you have an accountant, keep them. Quarterly Done is for people who do their own tax return, or want their records tidy before their accountant sees them.
It holds a founding place and moves you to the front of the queue. It's refundable any time, comes off your first month, and is refunded automatically if we haven't launched by 15 January 2027.
See /mtd/privacy. In short: we keep your quiz answers and email to run this waitlist, we never sell them, and we delete them if we don't launch.
